1943 Goodyear FG-1 Corsair. Not much in regards to modern avionics, but PDA did restore the entirety of the aircraft electrical system in this amazing piece of history. All old wiring was removed and new wiring was installed. All interior switch panels were refurbished in house at PDA. A new instrument panel was fabricated and fitted with period correct instrumentation. In order to maintain authenticity to the era, the electrical system junction boxes, conduit, and layout was retained. The team at PDA refurbished or manufactured replacement electrical system components to maintain the period correct layout and look of the original electrical system. Hidden in a side mounted avionics panel is a Garmin GTR200B COM and GTX335 Transponder. The airframe and engine restoration was completed by our friends at Hall Aviation. Truly an honor to be a small part of getting this incredible warbird back in the air!
